What can members do?

Lite, Plus, and Pro members can access more models, use the full range of official Agents, Skills, and data connections, and receive monthly base points, priority responses, and other benefits. Point allowances and response priority vary by membership tier; see the plan comparison table for details.

What are points?

Points are MuchSci's unit for measuring AI service usage. AI chat, paper analysis, and document generation consume points based on the model and amount of content processed or generated, not a flat charge per question. Usage varies by model and task. You can review your balance, expiration dates, and usage history in your account.

Do points expire?

Yes. Points granted upon registration or through a membership plan are valid for one month from the date each grant is credited and expire automatically afterward. You can view your point balance and expiration dates under Account—Settings—Plans & Usage.

What is “priority response”?

When model demand is high and requests need to queue, member requests receive higher processing priority and can usually begin responding sooner. Pro has a higher response priority than Plus. Priority response does not guarantee a fixed response time; members may still need to wait when resources are especially constrained.

Can I switch plans after purchasing one?

You can upgrade to another tier while your plan is active. Points included with the upgraded plan are available immediately. The expiration dates of points issued before the upgrade remain unchanged and continue to follow each grant's actual expiration date.
